The parking lot at the Adero Canyon Trailhead has space for about 40 vehicles and in a pinch there is room for about 10 more at curbside overflow parking just outside the trailhead entrance.
During the high season, basically from January through March, it would not be unusual to see this capacity maxed out on weekends.
This situation is, however, not enough to convince the Town Council they need to start thinking about expanding the parking capacity at the trailhead. At a council retreat work session Nov. 2, staff members were asking council members for some general direction on potential projects for budgeting in Fiscal Year 2024/2025.
