St. Pat's plans are set
Posted
This year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Fountain Hills is Sunday, March 16, starting at 10 a.m.
A paid advertisement in the March issue of Let’s Go indicated the event was March 15. The correct date is Sunday, March 16.
The Sons of AMVETS Squadron 7 will continue the tradition of turning the world-famous fountain emerald green at 1 p.m.
In addition to the fountain turning green, traditional Irish food, drink and entertainment will be featured. A bounce house play area and face painting for kids will be offered throughout the day.
Admission is $5 for those 21 and older and free for others. Proceeds will benefit veterans and community charities. Sponsors are MidFirst Bank and Crescent Crown Distributing in cooperation with the Town of Fountain Hills.
