The Town of Fountain Hills has closed the Splash Pad at Fountain Park to make some needed repairs to the surface area.
Parks Superintendent Kevin Snipes said some surface repairs were made over the winter, but after opening earlier this month it was determined that areas of the pad were still too slippery.
“It was realized that the repaired areas of the surface needed more grit to make them safe,” Snipes said.
