Speak Up: Fountain Hills readers excited for Dark Sky Discovery Center

You no longer have to look through a telescope to see the completion of Fountain Hills’ International Dark Sky Discovery Center as its completion is in sight for early 2027.

As of June, phase II of construction is now underway.

With phase I of construction, which entails the building’s exterior and a third of its interior, completed in 2025, the next step includes building out the planetarium, theater, exhibit hall, a couple of classrooms and the kitchen inside along with cosmetics.
