I hope we all agree that our government leaders should possess qualities that we value like honesty, integrity, and the belief that all citizens deserve to be treated as equal.
Unfortunately, this is not the philosophy which our current president, Donald Trump, appears to believe. I hope I am proven wrong.
If you are upset by this like I am, I hope you make your voice heard. Like President Obama said in his farewell address, don’t sit back! Get involved. Speak out. Take positive steps like attending local town hall meetings and write letters to your local congressman or woman.

Unfortunately, this is not the philosophy which our current president, Donald Trump, appears to believe. I hope I am proven wrong.
If you are upset by this like I am, I hope you make your voice heard. Like President Obama said in his farewell address, don’t sit back! Get involved. Speak out. Take positive steps like attending local town hall meetings and write letters to your local congressman or woman.
We need to let them know we will not tolerate a government that espouses bigotry and hatred towards other citizens. It is up to all of us to make that happen.
