Sons of AMVETS honors Antes

The Sons of AMVETS Squadron 7 recently celebrated the promotion of Marine Chad Antes to the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant (E-9) at Fountain Hills AMVETS Post 7.

Antes has served throughout the U.S. and the world during his 23 years of service and is currently stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station Yuma.

Chad’s career in the Marine Corps includes tours in Somalia during Operation Restore Hope, Japan and in Saudi Arabia during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Sons of AMVETS honors Antes

The Sons of AMVETS Squadron 7 recently celebrated the promotion of Marine Chad Antes to the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant (E-9) at Fountain Hills AMVETS Post 7.

Antes has served throughout the U.S. and the world during his 23 years of service and is currently stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station Yuma.

Chad’s career in the Marine Corps includes tours in Somalia during Operation Restore Hope, Japan and in Saudi Arabia during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

A decorated veteran, Antes has received the Purple Heart Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal with Combat Distinguishing Device for Valor, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with one gold star, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with one gold star and the Combat Action Ribbon with one gold star.

Congratulations to Master Gunnery Sergeant Chad A. Antes, the Fountain Hills Sons of AMVETS and Post 7 thank you for your service.

The Fountain Hills Sons of AMVETS Squadron 7 has received national recognition for its dedication and charitable contributions to veterans and the community of Fountain Hills.
