The Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church is hosting a special benefit concert this spring.
The Sonoran Wind Quintet will perform at 2 p.m. on April 26 at 13001 N. Fountain Hills Blvd., according to a press release. Proceeds from the performance will support the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale - Mary Ellen and Robert McKee Branch in providing scholarships for Fountain Hills youth.
“This marks the fourth year that the Sonoran Quintet has performed a benefit concert at FHPC,” quintet oboist Patti Backes said. “The quintet will perform a variety of music, including works by Bizet, Ibert, and a medley of tunes by the Beatles.”
