A provision to allow local authorities to inspect sober living homes in the community is on the Town Council agenda for discussion and possible consideration when it meets on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
Local inspection was left out of the ordinance approved previously, as the jurisdiction for enforcement of sober living home regulations was with the State of Arizona.
Councilmembers Allen Skillicorn and Gerry Friedel asked that the council consider requirements to have local authorities to do inspections be included in the ordinance.
