Snow brushes The Great Fair

Infinity sculpture Charles Sherman said early Friday morning that his tent collapsed under the weight of overnight snow but his love letters, X and O metal sculptures, remained standing at The Great Fair.

Organizers said a number of exhibitors’ tents were taken down by the snow; some vendors found difficulty traveling on highways into town. The arts and festival expects to resume under sunny but cold temperatures from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
