My name is Kelly Smith, I was a candidate for mayor of Fountain Hills two years ago. I had to drop out of the election due to a family emergency.
I have a deep love for Fountain Hills and want to make sure the town was on the right path for growth and prosperity. I wanted to make sure unnecessary spending like the crosswalk to nowhere on Saguaro Boulevard will never happen again. Even if there was partial funding from grants, the town still spent a lot of money.
I didn’t get to fight for you as your mayor, but you have a great candidate in current Councilman Gerry Friedel. We are on the same page when it comes to smart growth and common sense that will propel Fountain Hills into a strong future.

I happily endorse Gerry Friedel as your next mayor of Fountain Hills.
