Signal change at Fountain Park
(Independent Newsmedia/Bob Burns)
The Town of Fountain Hills has announced that the traffic signal at the intersection of Saguaro Boulevard and Palisades Boulevard/Panorama Drive at the corner of Fountain Park has been modified to include a protected left turn arrow. According to the town Community Relations Director/PIO Mike Pelton, this was the last traffic signal in town that did not include the left turn arrow, and the work was done to make all signals consistent. This intersection was also one of the first traffic signals in Fountain Hills. Initially the new signal has been operating with the leading arrow, but that will be changed to the trailing arrow as all other signals in town are.
