Sidewalks

The town should consider upgrading sidewalks that have unpaved sections along the main streets, especially near the town center.

Many sidewalks do not run continuously but have gravel, rocks and plants between paved lengths, obliging the walker to use the street bike lanes, which can be a harrowing experience at night.

For example, from Fountain Hills Boulevard down Palisades to the famous Fountain, there’s about one-quarter of the sidewalk missing. Each upgraded section would add to the convenience and enjoyment of our town.
