The barricades have gone up on Saguaro Boulevard between Paul Nordin Parkway and Colony Drive southbound and Panorama Drive to El Lago northbound.
There are also restrictions on El Lago Boulevard approaching Saguaro from the west. This signals the final phase of the $2 million construction project to fill gaps in the sidewalks along the streets in central Fountain Hills.
There are some side streets but no driveways to contend with during the final phase, however, there are steeper slopes that approach the streets that will require retaining wall construction.
