The Friends of the Library spring shredding event provides a safe solution for destroying old and unwanted documents.
This spring’s event is set for Saturday, May 4, in the Fountain Hills Public Library parking lot, 12901 N. La Montana Drive, from 9 a.m. to noon, or until the truck is filled.
All documents are shredded on site and taken to a recycling facility and recycled. There is a four-box limit of documents per person, and only soft cover folders can be shredded. Documents must be attended at all times. Items left unattended will not be processed.
