Are Flock cameras to be trusted, and should they be used in the Valley?

Enforcing the law and getting bad guys off the street resonates with nearly everyone. Flock cameras are an effective tool toward that end, law-enforcement agencies say. But do Flock cameras cross a line? Flock cameras have been removed in some Arizona cities and are undergoing scrutiny and debate in others over concerns about surveillance technologies colliding with civil liberties. Who gets the information from them? For how long is that information stored? How is it used and shared? Should they be allowed? Who should govern their use and storage of information?

As one who used to push the envelope in hurried driving with the tickets to prove it, and having delved into the studies on the subject when Arizona first began using them, I have no doubt whatsoever that they work and that they must be used - IF - we do it constitutionally.
The government must own the information and therefore it is unconstitutional:
-to keep the video past the point that it is specifically needed for the purpose it was authorized to be gathered.
-to allow any other access to the video without a specific authorized warrant.
-to use cameras in any manner not solely focused on public safety and supported by data.
