If you are not outraged by the Comey hearing, shame on you. We cannot simply shrug our shoulders and pretend it will all work out while the liar in chief systematically works to make America his personal fiefdom.

To Wit: there is a serious attempt by the president to interfere in an ongoing FBI investigation, an FBI director who is in theory independent of politics is fired, we have a foreign power attacking our nation with cyber-sabotage, and it is ignored by this administration.

The attorney general is tainted by his association with that foreign power, our judges and our allies and the media are under attack by the dear leader and his minions, our healthcare system is being overhauled in secret while 23 million people could potentially lose their health insurance. We have turned our backs on climate change and withdrew from the Paris accord.

Then there is the Muslim ban and the tax plan that heavily favors the wealthy, the Mexican wall that WE could end up paying for, and the nepotism and incompetent cabinet appointees. I could go on and on but most of you don't care because it does not affect you personally. You deserve what you get.

The parallel to Germany in the 1930s is frightening. The rest of us who do care must marshal our resources and vote the vandals out of office in 2018. You may not like what I say. Good! You need some shot to your senses.
