The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following incidents that include five vehicle collisions during the time of Dec. 18 to Dec. 22.
Thursday, Dec. 18
*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills and Shea boulevard where it was reported a traffic collision occurred after a driver failed to control speed to avoid a collision and rear-ended a stopped vehicle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following incidents that include five vehicle collisions during the time of Dec. 18 to Dec. 22.
Thursday, Dec. 18
*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills and Shea boulevard where it was reported a traffic collision occurred after a driver failed to control speed to avoid a collision and rear-ended a stopped vehicle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
Friday, Dec. 19
*Deputies responded to Golden Eagle and Palisades boulevards where it was reported a traffic collision occurred after a driver attempted to make an unsafe lane change and side-swiped another vehicle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of E. Lombard Pl. where a domestic violence assault incident was reported.
Saturday, Dec. 20
*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of E. Golden Eagle Blvd. where it was reported an unknown vehicle struck landscaping on a residential property and fled the area without reporting the collision. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of N. Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported a private property hit-and-run collision occurred after a vehicle backed into an unoccupied parked vehicle in the parking lot of a business. The driver fled the area without reporting the incident. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills and Kingstree boulevards where it was reported a vehicle was stopped for an equipment violation. A records check of the driver revealed that the driver’s license was suspended, and the driver had an outstanding warrant. The driver was booked into jail on the warrant and suspended license charge.
*Deputies responded to SR87 and Shea Boulevard where it was reported a driver was stopped for an expired license plate. A records check revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
Sunday, Dec. 21
*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of N. Golden Eagle Blvd. where a violation of a court order was reported.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of E. Shea Blvd. where it was reported a subject shoplifted items from a business. The subject was arrested and booked into jail.
Monday, Dec 22
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of N. Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported an unknown subject used the victim’s personal identifying information to acquire an apartment lease.
*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of E. Shea Blvd. where it was reported an unknown subject stole a utility trailer from a business.
*Deputies responded to the 9000 block of N. Monterey Dr. where it was reported a subject committed domestic violence disorderly conduct. The subject was booked into jail.
