Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills reports deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Oct. 30, to Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Thursday, Oct. 30
*Deputies responded to Verde River Drive and Parkview Avenue for a reported traffic collision. Deputies reported a driver failed to yield from a private drive and collided with a second vehicle. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills reports deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Oct. 30, to Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Thursday, Oct. 30
*Deputies responded to Verde River Drive and Parkview Avenue for a reported traffic collision. Deputies reported a driver failed to yield from a private drive and collided with a second vehicle. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Sycamore Drive reported a subject made threats against the victim by text message.
*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Salida Drive where it was reported a victim was assaulted by a neighbor. The neighbor was trespassed from the property, but the victim did not wish to aid in prosecution.
Friday, Oct. 31
*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and Panorama Drive for a reported traffic collision. According to deputies, a driver failed to yield from a stop sign and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard at Ledferd Lane for a reported single-vehicle traffic collision. Deputies report that a driver drifted off the roadway and struck a landscaping boulder. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Aguilar Drive reported a domestic violence threat incident.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Hillside Drive reported an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information without permission to cosign on a student loan.
Sunday, Nov. 2
*A resident of the 15000 block of Dogwood Lane reported an unknown subject entered the victim’s vehicle and removed items without permission. The vehicle was unlocked at the time of the incident.
*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Arista Lane where a domestic violence assault was reported by a third-party witness. Deputies report they did not observe any signs of an assault after speaking to the parties alleged to be involved.
Monday, Nov. 3
*Deputies responded to Saguaro and Grande boulevards for a reported traffic collision. MCSO reports a driver’s foot slipped off the brake pedal and their vehicle struck a vehicle stopped at a red light in front of them. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to Palisades and El Lago boulevards for a traffic collision. According to deputies, a driver failed to yield from a stop sign and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, and one vehicle was towed.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported an unknown subject shoplifted items from a business.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported an unknown subject shoplifted items from a business. This case was related to other incidents and turned over to another agency for prosecution.
*Deputies located a subject with multiple outstanding warrants from the Fountain Hills Municipal Court in the 15000 block of Escalante Drive. The subject was arrested and booked into jail on the warrants.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Picatinny Way reported two unknown subjects stole items from the victim’s residence after posing as autobody repair workers.
*Deputies made a traffic stop for criminal speed on Shea Boulevard at Balera Drive. Deputies report the driver was traveling 78 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. Upon contacting the driver, the deputy initiated a DUI investigation. The subject was processed for DUI and issued a criminal citation for multiple offenses.
Tuesday, Nov. 4
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported an unknown subject stole a vehicle from the parking lot of a business.
*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. for a reported private property traffic collision. According to deputies, it was alleged a vehicle ran over a pedestrian’s foot in the parking lot of a business. No injuries were reported.
Wednesday, Nov. 5
*Deputies made a traffic stop for criminal speed on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane. According to deputies, the driver was traveling 97 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Yerba Buena Way reported a domestic violence threats incident.
