Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Dec. 19, through Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Thursday, Dec. 19
*A resident of the 15000 block of Thistle Drive reported that an unknown subject took multiple items from the garage of a residence.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Dec. 19, through Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Thursday, Dec. 19
*A resident of the 15000 block of Thistle Drive reported that an unknown subject took multiple items from the garage of a residence.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Last Trail Drive reported that two large dogs were at large and chased a pedestrian.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Trevino Drive reported that an unknown subject took the victim’s cellphone.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Bayfield Drive reported that a subject threw a raw egg onto a vehicle. The victim was not willing to aid in prosecution.
*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where a subject was trespassed from a business.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Almont Drive reported that a subject sent threatening text messages to the victim.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Shiloh Way reported that an unknown subject stole a piece of jewelry from a residence while contractors were working.
Friday, Dec. 20
*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and La Montana Drive for a reported traffic collision. Deputies reported that a driver failed to yield from a stop sign and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, one vehicle was towed from the scene.
*Deputies responded to McDowell Mountain Road at Fountain Hills Boulevard. MCSO reported a single vehicle traffic collision occurred after a motorist traveling at an excessive speed failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle rolled over in the desert area ejecting the passengers before coming to rest in the parking lot of a school. Both occupants of the vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported for medical care. The vehicle was towed. This case turned over to the MCSO traffic unit for investigation.
*Deputies responded to the 12000 block of Saguaro Blvd. for a reported private property collision. Deputies reported a driver backed into another vehicle in a parking lot. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
Saturday, Dec. 21
*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Tower Drive where a domestic violence assault incident was reported. MCSO reported that the primary aggressor was arrested and booked into jail.
Sunday, Dec. 22
*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills and Palisades boulevards for a reported traffic collision. Deputies said a motorist failed to yield from a private drive and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, one vehicle was towed from the scene.
*A resident of the 17000 block of Grande Blvd. reported that a neighbor yelled at the complainant causing a disturbance.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that a subject shoplifted items from a business. Deputies reported they contacted the subject who attempted to flee on foot.
According to MCSO, the subject jumped from a retaining wall while attempting to evade deputies and was injured when landing. The subject was transported for medical treatment. Charges are pending.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Boulder Drive reported that a subject kicked and broke the door of a residence. Charges were submitted to the Fountain Hills Court for review.
Monday, Dec. 23
*A resident of the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. reported that an unknown subject attempted to steal a vehicle from a residence resulting in damage to the vehicle’s steering column.
*Deputies received a report from the 11000 block of Saguaro Blvd. that an unknown subject stole a water shut off valve from a commercial property.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject stole copper pipe worth approximately $300 from a commercial property.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject stole items from a safety deposit box.
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of La Montana Drive for a reported private property collision. Deputies reported that a driver struck a parked fire truck in a parking lot. No injuries were reported. No vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject stole gift cards valued at approximately $350 from a vehicle that was parked in a business parking lot.
Tuesday, Dec. 24
*Deputies responded to Shea Boulevard and Monterey Drive for a reported traffic collision. According to MCSO, a driver failed to yield from a private drive and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, one vehicle was towed from the scene.
*Deputies received a report from the 14000 block of Del Cambre Avenue. It was reported that an unknown subject drew an offensive symbol on a public park bench.
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane. MCSO reports a driver was stopped for criminal speed traveling 95 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
