Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following calls the week from Thursday, Oct. 31, through Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Thursday, Oct. 31
*A resident of the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. reported that an unknown subject attempted to break the window out of the victim’s vehicle while it was parked at a residence. The window did not break, but sustained damage.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that unknown subjects shoplifted items from a business.
*Deputies responded to Verde River Drive and Avenue of the Fountains. A traffic collision occurred when a motorcycle attempted to make a turn and struck a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Saguaro Blvd. It was reported that a former employee made threats of physical violence toward the complainant.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Glenpoint Drive reported that a subject damaged holiday decorations on the complainant’s property. The complainant did not wish to aid in prosecution.
*Deputies responded to Saguaro and Palisades boulevards for a reported single vehicle traffic collision when a driver lost control of their vehicle and drove into a center median damaging a street sign and some landscaping. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
*Deputies responded to Verde River Drive and Avenue of the Fountains for a reported traffic collision when a driver failed to yield from a private drive and struck a vehicle traveling in the roadway. No injuries were reported. A vehicle was towed from the scene.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Centipede Drive reported that a subject refused to leave a residence after being asked to leave. The subject was trespassed from the residence.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject shoplifted items from a business.
Friday, Nov. 1
*A resident of the 16000 block of Keith McMahan Drive reported that an unknown subject spent money without permission on the victim’s credit card.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject shoplifted items from a business.
*Deputies responded to Palisades and Fountain Hills boulevards for a rear end traffic collision that occurred when a driver failed to control speed to avoid a collision and struck the rear of a stopped vehicle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to Shea and Saguaro boulevards for a reported hit and run traffic collision after an unknown driver made an unsafe lane change and struck a vehicle stopped in the roadway. The driver then fled the area without stopping or exchanging information. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Bainbridge Avenue for a report of a domestic violence assault incident. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Mountain Vista Court. It was reported that a vehicle parked on private property was struck by an unknown vehicle. The unknown driver fled the scene without contacting the vehicle’s owner or exchanging information.
Saturday, Nov. 2
*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and Oasis Drive for a single vehicle collision that occurred when a driver lost control of their vehicle and struck landscaping in a center median. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
*Deputies made a traffic stop at Avenue of the Fountains and Palisades Boulevard. The driver was stopped for having suspended registration. A records check of the driver revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
Sunday, Nov. 3
*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Pinto Drive where it was reported that a resident of a sober living facility assaulted another resident of the facility. The victim was unwilling to aid in prosecution.
Monday, Nov. 4
*Deputies responded to a call for service at Thistle and Mountainside drives. A subject was contacted, and a check of records revealed the subject had outstanding warrants. The subject was arrested and booked into jail on the warrants.
*Deputies made a traffic stop for speeding on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane. The driver was stopped for traveling 83 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*Deputies responded to La Montana Drive and Avenue of the Fountains for a single vehicle private property collision. A motorist lost control of their vehicle in a parking lot and struck a large landscaping boulder and tree. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Wednesday, Nov. 6
*A resident of the 17000 block of Calle Del Oro reported that an unknown subject broke two windows out of a vehicle while it was parked at a residence.
