Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills reported deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Feb. 8, through Wednesday, Feb. 14.

Thursday, Feb. 8

*Deputies responded to the intersection of Palisades and Shea boulevards. It was reported that a vehicle ran a red light and caused a traffic collision. No injuries were reported, and one vehicle was towed from the scene.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. reported that the victim received threatening text messages from a known suspect.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Monterey Drive reported that an unknown suspect used their personal information fraudulently.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Monterey Drive reported that an unknown subject damaged the mailbox of a residence.

*A resident of the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. reported that a known suspect threatened them.

Saturday, Feb. 10

*A resident of the 16000 block of Arroyo Vista Drive reported a violation of a court order.

*A resident of the 14000 block of Aguilar Drive reported a domestic violence assault.

Sunday, Feb. 11

*A resident of the 17000 block of Fontana Way reported an unknown suspect(s) defrauded them of approximately $6,000 in an online scam.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown suspect shoplifted items from a business.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains where a domestic violence assault was reported.

Monday, Feb. 12

*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills Boulevard and Arroyo Vista Drive where a rear end traffic collision was reported. No injuries were reported; one vehicle was towed from the scene.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Monterey Drive reported that an unknown suspect used the victim’s personal information without permission.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown suspect shoplifted from a business.

Tuesday, Feb. 13

*A resident of the 13000 block of Manzanita Lane reported an unknown suspect took packages from the porch of a residence without permission.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains reported that unknown suspects entered a vehicle and took items while it was parked in a parking structure.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Pepperwood Cir. where it was reported that an unknown suspect damaged town Sanitary District property.

*Deputies responded to Shea and Saguaro boulevards when they received a report that a subject with a warrant was in the area. The subject was later located and taken into custody by deputies for a felony warrant.

*A resident of the 14000 block of Sherwood Drive reported that an unknown suspect defrauded them out of approximately $3,000 after an online scam.

*Deputies made a traffic stop at Nicklaus and Indian Wells drives for a driver who failed to stop at a stop sign. The traffic stop resulted in a DUI investigation with charges pending lab results.

Wednesday, Feb. 14

*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and Rand Drive where a non-injury rear end traffic collision occurred. No vehicles were towed from the scene.

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Golden Eagle Boulevard at Cactus Wren Court. A motorist was stopped for criminal speed traveling 60 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
