Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Feb. 1, through Wednesday, Feb. 7.

Thursday, Feb. 1

*Deputies responded to the 12000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown suspect damaged the fuel tank of a vehicle and removed the fuel while the vehicle was parked at a business.

*A resident of the 9000 block of Azure Ct. reported a possible vehicle title fraud. The incident was determined to be a civil issue.

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Calaveras Ave. where it was reported that an unknown suspect took tools from a jobsite without permission.

Friday, Feb. 2

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of La Montana Drive where it was reported that an unknown subject made threatening social media posts.

Saturday, Feb. 3

*A resident of the 16000 block of Glenbrook Blvd. reported that a known suspect made a threatening phone call.

*Deputies cited and released an individual for DUI after they made contact and found the person to be in physical control of a vehicle in the 14000 block of Boxwood Lane.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that a known subject shoplifted merchandise from a business.

Sunday, Feb. 4

*Deputies responded to Avenue of the Fountains and Saguaro Boulevard where it was reported that two vehicles were involved in a minor traffic collision at a stop sign controlled T intersection. No injuries were reported. No vehicles were towed from the scene.

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported a driver passed out in a vehicle. Upon contact deputies initiated a DUI investigation. Charges pending lab results.

Monday, Feb. 5

*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills Boulevard and Fayette Drive. It was reported that a bicycle rider crashed on the roadway due to road debris.

Tuesday, Feb. 6

*A resident of the 16000 block of Fairfax Drive reported that an unknown suspect made a threatening phone call to the victim.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Stancrest Drive reported that an unknown subject broke a window at their residence.

*A resident of the 13000 block of Foutain Hills Blvd. reported a domestic violence assault. The suspect was booked into jail.

Wednesday, Feb. 7

*A resident of the 11000 block of Indigo Drive reported that an unknown suspect attempted to defraud them into paying money in a phone scam.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains after a report that an unknown subject opened a credit card in the victim’s name without permission.
