The 12th annual Shepherd of the Hills Talent and Variety Show is Friday, March 22, at 7:30 pm.

The Talent and Variety Show is a fundraising event that provides scholarships for qualified Fountain Hills graduating seniors who are planning to go on to college, according to a press release from John Bjornholt, a SOTH scholarship committee member.

The Talent and Variety Show includes entertainment such as comedy monologues, instrumentals, vocals and of course, the famous Lutheran Tabernacle Bottle Blowers, Bjornholt said.

“Don’t miss out. Mark your calendars, then come and bring your friends and neighbors for an evening of fun and entertainment,” he said.

Admission is free, but donations are accepted at the door.

Cash prizes for first-, second- and third-place winners are awarded based on audience voting.

A cake and pie auction is also held at the end of the show.

Those interested in becoming a contestant to share their “God-given talents,” call John Bjornholt at 480-329-0540. “You could be the next Fountain Hills idol,” Bjornholt said.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church is located at 16150 E. El Lago Blvd.
