Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church invites the community to a special worship service on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 9:30 a.m., entitled, “Rejoice Always: Reflections for Advent & Christmas.”

This service offers a meaningful time of musical celebration and reflection designed to bring fresh insight and spiritual renewal during the busy Christmas season, according to a press release.

The service will feature beloved Advent and Christmas carols alongside new musical pieces, interwoven with inspiring readings from Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a Lutheran pastor and theologian during World War II, and Susan Cherwien, a contemporary Christian poet.

“As we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ, this service reminds us to focus on the true sounds of the season - the good news of our Savior’s birth and His return in glory,” said Matt Hoehne, music director at Shepherd of the Hills.

The church welcomes everyone to experience this unique worship event which promises to uplift and inspire.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church is located at 16150 E. El Lago Blvd.
