Senior facility

It’s “no” to another senior living facility.

We have two already and they need to be 65 percent full or they go under. All facilities are within a five-mile radius. The new one will take from the other two and they all could go down.

The census shows a low count of people to draw from, as most older people relocate to where their family is located. Traffic at Trevino is a nightmare. Traffic will find another way throughout the neighborhood, including 40-foot trucks.

C1 zoning is modest. There’s nothing modest about five acres of lights and buildings. The entrance of Fountain Hills will appear to be Sun City East.

We don’t need five acres of lights, hauling dirt for three months, another two years of building and then all three going out of business.
