Truck removed from highway
A tractor trailer hauling a Goodwill Industries trailer rolled onto its side making the turn from Shea Boulevard onto the southbound Beeline Highway about 11 a.m. Friday, blocking southbound traffic on SR 87 for some time.
Southbound traffic was diverted onto Shea to the Loop 101 Pima Freeway until the truck was uprighted. The truck was removed from the scene by about 1:30 p.m. Southbound traffic remained restricted until the scene was cleaned up of debris and fluids.

A tractor trailer hauling a Goodwill Industries trailer rolled onto its side making the turn from Shea Boulevard onto the southbound Beeline Highway about 11 a.m. Friday, blocking southbound traffic on SR 87 for some time.
Southbound traffic was diverted onto Shea to the Loop 101 Pima Freeway until the truck was uprighted. The truck was removed from the scene by about 1:30 p.m. Southbound traffic remained restricted until the scene was cleaned up of debris and fluids.
The driver was helped out of the truck with only minor injuries by passing motorists.
Fort McDowell Fire Department stood by monitoring and cleaning up fluids spilled by the truck.
Law enforcement from Fort McDowell Police, Salt River Tribal Police, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and DPS were on the scene. DPS has jurisdiction.
