The workshop is put on by the Arizona Authors Association.
Brooks will help capture the essence of your untold story, share with how to produce a memoir to your own satisfaction, face fears and conquer the story’s emotional beats, according to a press release.

The workshop also includes a question-and-answer session and an activity following her presentation.

Brooks will also teach this workshop in an eight-week extended format for the Arizona State University Piper Writing Center starting Saturday Feb. 28th through three Saturday mornings in March.
Brooks has written several memoirs and nonfiction books, including “Gifts of Sisterhood,” “Sick as My Secrets,” “Three husbands and a Thousand Boyfriends,” and “Write the Memoir You’re Afraid to Write.”
