School board to talk swim team, education resolution
The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board will hold a meeting tonight, Feb. 28, at the FHUSD Learning Center, with the public welcome to attend beginning at 6:30 p.m..
The board will meet earlier at 5:30 p.m. in an executive session to discuss personnel matters. This executive session is closed to the public.
On the agenda for discussion at the 6:30 meeting is the creation of a FHHS swim team for the 2018-19 school year. The idea for the team comes from a FHHS student who presented the idea to FHHS administration.

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board will hold a meeting tonight, Feb. 28, at the FHUSD Learning Center, with the public welcome to attend beginning at 6:30 p.m..
The board will meet earlier at 5:30 p.m. in an executive session to discuss personnel matters. This executive session is closed to the public.
On the agenda for discussion at the 6:30 meeting is the creation of a FHHS swim team for the 2018-19 school year. The idea for the team comes from a FHHS student who presented the idea to FHHS administration.
On the agenda for action is the approval of two school trips. One would be the high school band trip to Hollywood in April. The other is a trip to Fountain Hills’ Sister City of Dierdorf, Germany, in May.
Also on the agenda for action is the resolution in support of public education, which was tabled last meeting after disagreement over the language used in the resolution.
