A lot of local high achievers will receive recognition at tonight’s School Board meeting, with special notice of the high school girls soccer team, high school boys basketball team and middle school softball team set to kick off the proceedings at 6:30 p.m. in the district office.
After that, the board will receive a bond security projects update from Dr. Robert Allen, followed by first reads of a whopping 13 policies and revisions. Said policies range the spectrum, covering areas such as open enrollment, student surveys, student records, website accessibility, bidding/purchasing procedures and board review of regulations.
Into the action agenda, the board will discuss the possible contract renewal of Superintendent Dr. Patrick Sweeney, as well as an intergovernmental agreement with Carl Perkins and embedded math credit for the high school automotive technologies class.
