School board meets Wednesday night

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board will host an executive session to discuss personnel matters Wednesday evening, Jan. 28, but first they’ve got a short regular agenda to work through beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the District Learning Center.

Tomorrow evening’s meeting will begin with a special presentation to FHUSD by the Fountain Hills Pickle Ball Club, followed by a progress report from the Fountain Hills High School. This report will kick off a series of seasonal refreshers from District administrators, with McDowell Mountain Elementary School continuing the trend on March 4.

The teacher evaluation statement of assurance and STUGO state convention trip discussed at the Jan. 14 meeting will be voted on later in the evening, with a potential hospitality management trip to NAU set as a discussion item.
