Sanctuary cities; are they a moral concern or a concern of the purse?
Cities; municipal corporations (excluding churches) declare themselves to be a sanctuary. They declare they will not absorb the costs of an ICE desist order. Certainly a dollars concern, traceable to an invasion of undocumented aliens.
Those cities proclaim their protection of aliens. An example: Police or ICE, but mainly local police, cannot investigate those aliens if they make a criminal complaint. In the remote unlikelihood of making a criminal complaint, say against human smugglers; a moral concern.

On the surface, sanctuary is both concerns.
Except there is much more to it. There is also an ugliness hidden, not revealed, as if it were of no concern. The American citizen, the bona fide citizen, is forgotten by politicians that play at power politics.
There have been many American citizens murdered, including child murders and police deaths throughout the U.S., by undocumented aliens. Recently, an Arizona DPS officer was rescued from death by an armed good guy. That officer was attacked by a many-times deported alien.
Where is the justice in Obama’s revival of “catch and release?” It is an outrageous policy against every American left out and unprotected. Catch and release is a failure and must be rejected.
A sanctuary city is an outlaw city pretending to justice. It is mostly their concern of dollars, a cost to be paid. The real cost is paid with death; death foisted on Americans and those who have lost loved ones to crimes of undocumented aliens. This must stop!
First the Mexico border wall, then a comprehensive immigration law. America and Americans first.
