In The Times of Sept. 30, Darlene Dean stated that Muslim Sharia Law was incompatible with the U.S. Constitution, and that Muslims support violence and intend for their beliefs to take over the United States.

In that same issue, Dorothy Wolovlek similarly states that Muslims are planning to dominate and take over the U.S.

I would like to support their opinions, and take the next step.

Amendment I of the Constitution grants freedom of religion, however, the need to exclude religions which practice and exhort violence, or are controlled outside of our national boundaries should take precedence over this constitutional- granted freedom.

We must apply this to other organizations that follow the same practices of violence, intolerance and attempt to dominate.

For centuries, Catholics and Protestants have fought each other, attempting to impose their beliefs on each other.

In the past and now Christians are attempting to impose their religious beliefs on everyone in a manner similar to that proposed by Muslims with Sharia Law.

One can seldom open a newspaper without reading about Christians imposing their beliefs on everyone.

Intolerance and violence are practiced by those who do not believe in abortions and gay rights.

The imposition of their beliefs on others by preaching and violence is similar for Christians and Muslims. Some in both religions believe that the religious rights granted by the Constitution should be superseded to further their beliefs.

Similarly the outlier religions have forcefully attempted to convert others and have used violence.

By elimination, it is apparent that the people who should be given full religious rights and should not be penalized are deitics, agonistic, and atheist.

This is not surprising because the writers of the Constitution were not Muslims, Catholics or Protestants. We should equally discriminate and impose restrictions as proposed by the cited letter writers to Muslim, Christian et al religions or…to none.
