The Rio Verde Community Association (RVCA) has a vacancy on its board of directors and is reaching out to residents interested in serving on the board.
The current vacancy is to serve the remaining term of a board member who recently resigned. The unexpired term is approximately 17 months, until the 2026 annual meeting.
Replacing a board member is done by a vote of the remaining directors, which will occur at the regular meeting Oct. 17.
Any Rio Verde resident interested in serving on the board and using their skills for the benefit of the community, may send a communication of interest to RVCA Executive Director Kevin Hearty at khearty@rioverdehoa.org.
The communication should include:
*Home address, phone number, email address and length of residency in Rio Verde.
*A brief resume including work history.
*Prior involvement within the community such as committees or other Rio Verde organizations.
*Reasons for wanting to serve on the board and how personal skill sets will benefit the board, the RVCA and the community.
The communication of interest must be received by Sept. 15, 2024.
