The Fountains United Methodist Church youth is holding a rummage/bake sale Saturday, March 29.

The young people will travel to Los Angeles this summer to work in the inner city. They are raising money to help defer costs of the trip.

The sale will be from 8 a.m. to noon in the church parking lot. Donations also are being accepted for the sale. No clothing is needed.

Among the items for sale are books, toys, games, electronics and more. The church is located at 15300 N. Fountain Hills Blvd. Call DeDe or Jennifer, (480) 837-7627, for more information or for item pick up.

The group will be in L.A. in July to work on different projects and learn about lives different from their own.
