Roughly 30 acres of Fountain Hills washes maintained during fiscal year 2026

Town still two decades behind

As the last of the cool days move into the rear view, Public Works Director Justin Weldy detailed the end-of-season progress staff has made on Founatin Hills’ network of washes during the Town Council’s meeting on Tuesday, May 5. 

This concludes the work on washes not only for the fiscal year, but the calendar year, Weldy said. 

“This is the time of year when we have a lot of reptiles and other creatures that start stirring,” he added.
