LifeVac devices are specifically designed to save a child or adult from choking from food or small objects getting lodged in the throat.
As of Jan. 10, these life-saving devices have saved 3,376 lives, the release said.
When the idea of donating the LifeVac units was brought up at a meeting, the Rotary Club of the Verdes knew it made perfect sense to give each school a tool to save a life.
The devices are simple to use by any adult and the club is honored to provide units that will assist in keeping the students safe.
