I wonder who among us think our government has gotten so bloated and out of control that the benefits and protection we’ve been promised are not forthcoming? Has our “return on investment” (ROI) been worth the sacrifices we have had to make?
Places I’ve noticed little to no benefits: Government bureaucrats, they are many, they have their own agendas, they mis-spend our money; government schools, spending more and more while our children and country get less and less; taxes, always increasing while benefits keep decreasing; executive, czars, bailouts, foreign aid, etc.

How about government waste and fraud? We constantly hear of our government squandering our money for stupid illogical projects ($558,000 grant to observe snail sex) and on and on. To add insult to injury, a large portion of the money is borrowed! The conservative estimate, for a household of dour, for waste and fraud is $3,000 annually.
Question: If a stranger came to your door and demanded $3,000 by your freewill or by force, would you give him the money and tell him if he runs for office you will vote for him, or would you call the police?
Someone please explain (logically), why they keep stealing and we keep electing them?
The politicians and those receiving the tainted cash tell us to relax, “it’s just the cost of doing business.” Does anyone know what the average family gives to their church and/or charities annually? Think it’s $3,000? Something to ponder – who do you treat the way your government treats you?
Millard Fillmore said, “May God save the Country for it is evident people will not.”
Where is he wrong?
Have to go now…I need to treat this stiff neck I have from looking the other way.
