Please, if you don’t know what the red, octagonal (eight-sided) sign at most of the intersections in Fountain Hills means, park your car and throw away the keys.

If you don't know how to negotiate a three-way stop intersection(Golden Eagle and Palisades), a four-way stop intersection (La Montana and Palisades) or even a simple two-way stop intersection (like most in town), park your car and throw away the keys.

If you think it’s OK to back into another car in the Safeway parking lot and then just drive off, park your car and throw away the keys.

And if you think the Arizona driving and parking laws do not apply to you, park your car and throw away the keys!

Our streets are horribly dangerous because of people driving distracted, ignoring speed limit signs, running stop signs (those red, octagonal thingies at most intersections), making turns from the middle of the street instead of using the turn lanes, using the turn lanes on Golden Eagle and Palisades as normal driving lanes and not turning into the lane closest to them when turning onto a multi-lane street.

If you don't know the Arizona driving and parking laws, please take the time to learn them. You’ll make our streets safer for everyone.
