River of Time Museum’s speaker series in Fountain Hills continues with presentation on Hohokam peoples

The River of Time Museum’s “Stories of Water, Land and Life in the Lower Verde Valley” speaker series continues with an Oct. 10 presentation.

The River of Time Museum’s “Stories of Water, Land and Life in the Lower Verde Valley” speaker series in Fountain Hills is focusing on the ancient farming peoples of the southern deserts of Arizona with its next presentation.

The presentation “People of the River: The Hohokam in the Verde Valley” will be held 10-11 a.m. on Oct. 10 at the museum at 12901 N. La Montana Drive, according to a press release.

The guest speaker will be Jeff Ross, docent at the Heard Museum and S’edav Va’aki Museum.
