With the summer in the rear-view mirror, the River of Time Museum & Exploration Center has reopened, welcoming visitors back with a lineup of tours, events and the debut of a year-round art gallery.
The return marks a busy season ahead for the museum, which has been preparing new programming for the community.
Beginning in October, the museum’s lobby will feature the new Art Gallery at River of Time and a new exhibit in the We Are Here Gallery, which opens Oct. 18, with a free admission day.

With the summer in the rear-view mirror, the River of Time Museum & Exploration Center has reopened, welcoming visitors back with a lineup of tours, events and the debut of a year-round art gallery.
The return marks a busy season ahead for the museum, which has been preparing new programming for the community.
Beginning in October, the museum’s lobby will feature the new Art Gallery at River of Time and a new exhibit in the We Are Here Gallery, which opens Oct. 18, with a free admission day.
The fall season will also bring expanded tours and special events, with additional programs scheduled to roll out through 2026.
New Art Gallery
Rotating artists on display in the lobby beginning in October. a new space dedicated to hosting rotating artists throughout the year.
The gallery will be open during regular museum hours and will be free for the public to view.
Fort McDowell Tours
Ten cultural tours scheduled from November through April, featuring new sites and stories, with bus transportation sponsored by We-Ko-Pa Resort & Casino.
Milestone Sculpture Tours
Guided walks of Fountain Hills’ Centennial Park sculptures begin Oct. 8, running twice monthly through April.
We Are Here Gallery
The “50 Years of Community Spirit” exhibit at the We Are Here Gallery opens Oct. 18, with a free admission day. This exhibit explores the history and beauty of the Fountain Hills Desert Botanical Garden.
Holiday Mart
The annual Holiday Mart returns from Nov. 18 to Dec. 20, giving community members a chance to discover restored, high-end holiday décor.

The River of Time is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, and located at 12901 N. La Montana Drive.
