Post-COVID, the L. Alan Cruikshank River of Time Museum and Exploration Center in Fountain Hills is poised to move ahead with a new phase of growth offering more programs and activities to immerse the public in the history of the Verde Valley. However, funding resources have become a challenge.
Museum officials have approached the town asking for consideration of a financial participation agreement to help fund professional staff and expand hours of operation. The request is for $100,000 for Fiscal Year 2024/2025 with an option for a second year.
In a memo to the council town Economic Development Director Amanda Jacobs said “this support would allow the organization to increase its hours and staffing, which in turn would allow for implementing the programs currently on hold.
