The River of Time Museum will participate in the Dark Sky Festival on Saturday, March 30, by offering family-friendly activities.
Executive Director Cherie Koss said discovery stations with hands-on exploration, interactive crafts and stories will be scattered throughout the museum from 3 to 7 p.m.
Children and their parents will create a cosmic comet, design a bat puppet, construct a star constellation wheel and munch on a “moon” sandwich cookie.

Children and their parents will create a cosmic comet, design a bat puppet, construct a star constellation wheel and munch on a “moon” sandwich cookie.
Families will stroll down a hall of planets and learn about the celestial objects.
Admission to the museum will be free during the festival.
Volunteers interested in helping with the discovery stations during one of two shifts – 2:30 to 5 p.m. or 5 to 7:30 p.m. – should call Debi Novotny at 480-837-2612 or email admin@rotmuseum.org.
