With his vote to confirm Loretta Lynch as Attorney General, Jeff Flake has shown us he is not the kind of senator Arizona needs to stand up against the lawless Obama administration.
In his statement on his vote for Ms. Lynch, Flake says, “I have always believed that the Senate should give deference to the president to pick his Cabinet unless there is something disqualifying in a nominee’s background.”
Really? Like the deference the Democrats gave Alberto Gonzales?

“Something disqualifying?” How about this, senator?

Senator Sessions:
“During her confirmation hearing in the Judiciary Committee, I asked Ms. Lynch plainly whether she supported the President’s unilateral decision to make his own immigration laws. Here is the relevant portion of the hearing transcript:
Sessions: I have to have a clear answer to this question — Ms. Lynch, do you believe the executive action announced by President Obama on November 20 is legal and Constitutional? Yes or no?
Lynch: As I’ve read the [Office of Legal Counsel] opinion, I do believe it is, Senator.”
Oh yes, let’s defer to a president who views the Constitution as a “Flawed Document” and whose prior Attorney General aided and abetted his every violation of the law and the Constitution.
Tell me, Senator, are you such a fool that you really believe Loretta Lynch is going to investigate Hillary Clinton’s blatant influence peddling? If she’s elected, it is you and the other Republican cowards that will have helped put her in the White House.
To my regret I supported Flake, but he now joins Rep. Schweikert, who supported the Democrats’ favorite John Boehner as House Speaker, as yet another phony conservative, another RINO career politician who does not have the stomach or principles necessary to fight those who are dedicated to destroying our beloved country.
