The Retirements Next Steps Workshop Series, the free, ongoing educational program designed to help retirees, those approaching retirement and adult children supporting aging parents make informed decisions before a crisis forces them to, has announced its next workshop, “Thrive at Home: Tips, Tools and Care for Your Best Year.”
The workshop will be presented by Home Instead and held at 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 23. In the workshop, attendees will learn practical steps to plan ahead and maintain independence and quality of life throughout retirement.

The Retirements Next Steps Workshop Series, the free, ongoing educational program designed to help retirees, those approaching retirement and adult children supporting aging parents make informed decisions before a crisis forces them to, has announced its next workshop, “Thrive at Home: Tips, Tools and Care for Your Best Year.”
The workshop will be presented by Home Instead and held at 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 23. In the workshop, attendees will learn practical steps to plan ahead and maintain independence and quality of life throughout retirement.
Key topics include:
Aging Options and Creating a Plan – Why starting early matters and how to map out the future you want.
Financing Your Plan – Understanding costs and resources to support your next stage of life.
Communicating Your Plan – How to have important conversations with loved ones before decisions become urgent.
Home Care: What to Know and When to Engage – Signs it’s time for extra support and how to choose the right care provider.
The Retirements Next Steps Workshop Series continues through the end of the year with additional sessions designed to support families at every stage of the journey:
On Thursday, Nov. 20, Elaine Kresta of Simplicity PHX will present “Imagine Life in the Place You’ve Been Dreaming About.”
On Thursday, Dec. 18, Starr Bielas will present “Max Meditation: Embracing Change and Transformation.” Workshops are free to attend, but space is limited. Workshops are held at DeGeorge Partners Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty office, 16872 E. Avenue of the Fountains, Suite 103.
