Having lived and worked in Fountain Hills for the past 25 years, I have come to really appreciate the many elements that make our town unique.
One of those elements has been the lack of political signs prior to elections. Rather than looking at the clutter of signage that accompanies election time on the roadways of our neighboring cities, it has been an unwritten understanding that we avoid this in Fountain Hills. This has been an element of respect afforded us by most of the participants in past elections.
So now I drive around Fountain Hills and I’m seeing “signs” of disrespect. Signs along roadways telling me how I should vote.

They are totally within their legal rights; however, what may be legal is not always right in my view.
I believe I have been properly educated on all of the arguments surrounding the issues of the upcoming election. The little red signs probably won’t affect my decision. I have a hard time supporting a group that doesn’t respect me.
