I am a resident of Fountain Hills and have been a custom home builder in this area for the past 16 years.

For the sake of brevity, and to spare you and others the boring details, I will just say that for several months of last year and on into this year, I had been dealing with a very vexing issue involving the Building Department at the Town of Fountain Hills. I appealed to many different individuals and resources and ultimately took my concerns to the public comment section of a recent Town Council meeting.

I just want to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to Councilmember Art Tolis and Dennis Brown for their assistance in helping me to get this issue addressed and ultimately resolved by the Town Council.

The fact that these Council members were willing to listen to my concerns and also to advocate for fairness and equity has restored my faith in community leadership at the Town of Fountain Hills.

Thank you, Mr. Tolis and Mr. Brown, for your efforts and support on my behalf and, most of all, for your service and commitment to making the Town of Fountain Hills a great place to call home.
