I am deeply concerned by Councilmember Brenda Kalivianakis' suggestion at a recent council meeting that the Senderos developers should reintroduce the option of the previously rejected Mountainside apartment complex to the Lost Hills neighborhood.
Our community worked diligently last year to oppose and defeat that project. We understand Senderos has now submitted a revised site plan, reportedly with reduced acreage and fewer units, which we have not yet reviewed.
Given our previous efforts, it is inexplicable why anyone would consider reverting to the former, widely-opposed apartment complex design.
I wonder if Council member Kalivianakis is looking out for the best interests of the residents or the developer?
