Renaming proposal not appropriate for Fountain Hills

I find the proposal of some of our town council members to name our community center after Charlie Kirk disturbing.
Fountain Hills facilities belong to everyone, of all races and beliefs. Our community center, library, Dark Sky Observatory and all other town buildings should not be associated with a political, religious or ideological cause.
If those council members want to name something after Mr. Kirk, name your child or pet, but not a town facility.
