Red Ribbon Week returns to Fountain Hills

Week-long awareness campaign supports drug-prevention efforts

Red Ribbon Week returns to Fountain Hills Oct. 23-31 and organizers are calling it the biggest drug-prevention campaign of the year.

Presented by the Fountain Hills Protect Our Youth Coalition, the week-long awareness event aims to educate students about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and vaping while promoting healthy, positive lifestyles.

Coalition Program Manager Elizabeth Watters said the annual campaign gives students a sense of pride and encouragement to live drug-free.
