Red Ribbon Week returns to Fountain Hills

Students invited to ‘be kind to your mind, live drug free’

Fountain Hills Unified School District celebrated Red Ribbon Week from Monday, Oct. 23, to Friday, Oct. 27.

The Fountain Hills Protect Our Youth Coalition hosted events and activities across the elementary, middle and high schools this year, and students learned about good decision- making and the benefits of staying alcohol, tobacco and drug free.

In preparation for the week, high school students recorded public safety announcements that were played on the morning announcements at the middle school. All three schools participated in spirit days, like wearing red on Monday and crazy socks on Thursday.
